PAMELA Anderson went makeup free, showing off her natural beauty in Spain at the San Sebastian international film festival on Friday.
The 57-year-old turned out at a photocall for her new film, The Last Showgirl, which is already garnering “Oscar buzz.”

Her appearance at the festival comes after it was revealed that the star has turned down the chance to feature in the upcoming Baywatch documentary.
Sources say that while she’s proud of the show that made her name, Pamela now feels that she’s in a ‘new chapter of life.”
Striking a pose for the cameras, the actress wore an elegant rouge and violet pussy bow dress and nude heels, with not a scrap of make up on her face.
Last year she caused a stir when she arrived at the Vivienne Westwood show at Paris Fashion week, make up free and she spoke about how she wishes to challenge the unattainable beauty standards imposed by Hollywood.
She said at the time: “I feel as a woman of my age and a woman in the public eye its your job to be a model of everything. Just all sorts of choices. SO I am just being me.”
The star also explained that she no longer feels the need to compete with younger actresses, which prompted her decision to ditch the make up.
She told Vogue magazine: “Something just kind of came over me and I was dressing in these beautiful clothes and I thought, I don’t want to compete with the clothes. I am not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room. I feel like its just freedom. It’s a release.”
But for possibly the first time in her career, the actress is now being taken seriously as an actress, for her performance in The last Showgirl
Pamela plays Shelley, a veteran dancer at a Las Vegas club, who finds herself ousted having sacrificed 30 years of her her life and her relationship with her daughter, for the role.
Directed by Gia Coppola, the 37-year old grand daughter of Francis Ford Coppoa, auteur of The Godfather Trilogy, the film premiered at The Toronto film Festival on September 6th.
During the Q& A afterwards, Pamela, confessed that this was the role she was born to play. She said: “I’ve been getting ready my whole life for this film. I never felt something so strongly about something [as this film]. It was do it, just be it, and I did it.’
And, on choosing Pamela for the role, Gia said: ‘I kind of came across a picture of her. I guess you were promoting your documentary and, there was this sort of gut feeling of: “Well, what about her?” But, I didn’t know too much about you at that time.
‘And then my other cousin, Matt Shire, was like: “I know who your Shelly is. It’s Pamela. Watch her documentary.” And, I did, and I was like: “You’re absolutely right. Like, no one else can be her. I have to go find her.”‘
