More than 25 thousand members of the armed forces serve the population affected by ‘John’ in Guerrero, says AMLO
The federal president reported that around 25,000 members of the armed forces are assisting the Acapulcans affected by the hurricane. John in Guerrero, “and we are monitoring, aware of everything that is happening.”
“We are very aware of what is happening in Guerrero, on the coast, both on the small coast in Acapulco, which is the area most affected by the rains. They are the DN-III plans of the Defense, the Navy plan and the National Guard, we are rescuing those who are trapped and placing ourselves in shelters (…) “There are around 25 thousand elements of the Defense, Navy and National Guard serving the affected population.”
