Hurricane Helene, a Category 2 hurricane, continues to advance over the Caribbean Sea, strengthening its intensity as it moves northward towards the United States. Meteorological authorities have issued a series of alerts and preventive measures in several affected regions, mainly in the Yucatan Peninsula. Although the cyclone is in the process of moving away from the Mexican coast, its effects are still significant both in Mexico and in the coastal states of the United States that are already preparing for its arrival.
