Inside Nintendo’s new museum which features super-sized controller and classic childhood games

GAMING fans push all the right buttons as they get their hands on a super-sized controller at the new Nintendo Museum.

The oversized gadget, so massive it takes two to control, lets fans dive into seven minutes of retro bliss, from NES to SNES and N64 classics.

Opening on October 2, the museum is set to feature everything from golden oldies to interactive “Super Mario” shoot-’em-ups.

It is in the Uji Ogura Plant in Kyoto, Japan – which used to be a repair centre for the iconic gaming firm.

But non-Japanese fans have been devastated to learn that the museum will not be expanding to other countries.

Top Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto said: “This was not created as a business project.

But rather to help Nintendo employees understand Nintendo better, and to help the general public learn more about Nintendo.

“So we have no intention of expanding it to other locations.”
