Lack of business and IT collaboration hinders…

This is evident from a Ciphix survey among dozens of Dutch companies. In addition to a lack of collaboration, companies that want to implement hyperautomation also experience shortages of resources and expertise (64%) and often lack a clear vision on digitalization (60%).

Respond more quickly to market changes

Companies are considering hyperautomation primarily to respond more quickly and flexibly to market changes (52%). They also want to accelerate application development (36%) or enable employees to build applications themselves (28%).

When asked about the biggest dangers of delaying hyperautomation, companies fear operational inefficiencies, higher costs and a drop in productivity (80%). They also worry about not being able to keep up with trends and market developments (64%) and losing their competitive edge (40%).

Marijn van de Poel, Chief Strategy Officer at Ciphix: “By combining different technologies, many business processes can now be optimized and automated, which significantly improves the productivity and competitiveness of companies. However, our customers, prospects and partners indicate that there is still a lack of collaboration between business and IT, which limits the value of implementations. This is a shame, because smart automation offers enormous opportunities to better utilize human potential. With our expertise, we are happy to help break through these barriers and support a future-proof business community in the Netherlands.”
