Media: Vogue Netherlands launches Linda Gümüs Gerritsen as editor-in-chief and new Vogue Collective

Linda Gümüs Gerritsen, fashion director of Vogue Netherlandshas been appointed as the new editor-in-chief of Vogue Netherlands. In addition, the first Vogue Collective has been introduced, a far-reaching collaboration with three industry experts from the fashion, music and modeling worlds.

Last Monday, September 16, a new chapter for Vogue Netherlands was launched in the Nxt Museum. Linda Gümüs Gerritsen (photo above) fashion director of Vogue Netherlands for three years, was put forward as the new editor-in-chief. Together with creative & editorial director Marie Nanette Schaepman she forms the new editorial team of Vogue Netherlands. Vogue Netherlands also announced a brand new collaboration with three big names from the fashion, music and modeling world: under the name Vogue Collective, Dutch top models will Jill Kortlevemusic producer and international DJ Amelie Lens and creative director of fashion brand Kith Daniëlle Cathari commit to Vogue Netherlands for a year.

Linda Gümüs Gerritsen and fashion go way back. She has been working as a stylist and fashion director for international glossy magazines for over 25 years. Her track record is endless. Since 2021, Linda has been fashion director for Vogue Netherlands. She was also creative/art director for international campaigns. Linda knows fashion and effortlessly converts fashion trends into high-quality editorial fashion stories for print and online.

Linda succeeds Yeliz Çiçek, who announced her departure last July after three years at the helm of Vogue Netherlands together with Marie Nanette Schaepman. In addition to her position as editor-in-chief, Linda will continue her role as fashion director. Marie Nanette Schaepman: ‘I would not have dared to pursue the license of Vogue Netherlands without Linda at my side as fashion director. We share the same ambition and vision in our profession. I look forward to being at the editorial helm of Vogue Netherlands together with her and continuing our successful course.’

The first Vogue Collective

With the introduction of the Vogue Collective of successful talent from the Netherlands, Vogue Netherlands is taking a new path, with the aim of broadening the Vogue community. Dutch top model Jill Kortleve, music producer and international DJ Amelie Lens, and creative director of fashion brand Kith Daniëlle Cathari will be closely involved in the print issues, events and digital content of Vogue Netherlands for a year.

Linda Gümus Gerritsen: ‘Vogue Nederland wants to broaden its horizons. That’s how the idea for the Vogue Collective came about. We want to open ourselves up to new worlds and ideas. We are incredibly proud that Jill, Amelie and Daniëlle, industry experts with international success, are forming our first Vogue Collective. All three of them have a strong connection with the current generation and have secured a good position in their own profession, in their own world. We can’t wait to work together this year.’
