Launch in Amsterdam
On Friday night of Amsterdam Fashion Week, the Dutch public was introduced to Grey Goose Altius. This is the brand’s most exclusive product so faraimed at the crème de la crème of society. The exclusive party took place at Soulkitchen: a new restaurant concept in Amsterdam where culinary delights and weekend beats come together – the perfect setting for the launch of this new ultra premium vodka. But what kind of drink is it actually? Let’s take a deep dive.
Grey Goose Altius
Grey Goose Altius is a hand-bottled, exclusive vodka that reflects the rare luxury of the French Alps. Altius is distilled from French winter wheat and blended with spring water sourced from the highest peaks in the French Alps. After blending, Grey Goose Altius is filtered at a very low pressure of -24 degrees Celsius – the temperature of Alpine glaciers – a filtration that is thirty times slower than the original Grey Goose. The combination of this unique process and the natural effects of icy temperatures creates a vodka with a remarkably smooth taste. So how do you drink it? Grey Goose Altius is designed to be enjoyed neat, chilled or on the rocks to be served. Sounds good, right?
Inspiration from earthly wonders
“Known as the quintessential French vodka, it was an obvious choice for us to draw inspiration for our next major product from one of the country’s most impressive earthly wonders,” says Francois ThibaultGrey Goose Master Distiller, on Grey Goose Altius. “For Altius, we work with a process that comes from a rare phenomenon that occurs naturally in the freezing temperatures of the Alps. In this way, we are able to bottle the glacial softness that the mountains are so admired for.”
The stars are fans
That the Dutch stars are also fans of Grey Goose Altius, became clear during the launch party in Amsterdam. Influencers, journalists, artists, important people from the fashion industry and other famous faces were present. Among others Olcay Gulsen, Jaimie Vaes, Anna Nooshin, Jonna Fraser, Nigel de Jong and Ryan Donk were at the party and enjoyed the premium vodka. On the menu was Le Grand Altius (35ml Grey Goose Altius mixed with 10ml St-Germain Top topped with Martini Prosecco), Skinny Goose, French Mule, Goose & Grapefruit, Espresso Martini and of course the classic: Gray Goose Altius On The Rocks. Yumm!
Where to get it?
With the closing party of Amsterdam Fashion Week as the official kick-off in the Netherlands, Grey Goose Altius is now on the map in Europe’s biggest and most luxurious summer hotspots, including Mykonos, Saint Tropez and Porto Cervo. Later this fall, Altius will make its debut in London, Paris and the United States. Want to enjoy this premium vodka in your own country?
