Yesterday, Holland Casino announced that its branch in Rotterdam and the casino in Amsterdam-Sloterdijk will close on 1 January 2025. no longer open 24 hours a day will be. If the Holland Casino works council agrees, those establishments will be closed between 05:00 and 10:30 in the new year.
Following that message, Holland Casino tells CasinoNieuws.nl that the opening hours of all fourteen locations are subject to an analysis. That investigation is almost complete. A decision about the other twelve locations, which are all still open from 12:00 to 03:00, has not yet been made, according to the spokesperson of the state-owned company:
“Apart from the 24-hour opening hours, we are also looking at reducing or extending the opening hours in the full breadth. The investigation into the opening hours is in an advanced stage. But it is a complex process. For now, only the decision on 24/7 has been made.”

All branches have slot machines and gaming tables such as roulette, blackjackand baccarat. Not all locations have the full range of games available at all times of the day. The table games in Holland Casino Eindhoven, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Nijmegen, and Zandvoort are only available from 17:00, except on Sundays when the tables open at 15:00.
The branches with poker in the range of games, the poker tables usually only open in the evenings except on weekends. Bingo is offered at the Amsterdam Sloterdijk, Enschede, Utrecht, and Venlo branches during special bingo evenings.
