PXR will publish four Hearst sports and lifestyle magazines under license in the Netherlands from October 1st. The titles covered by this agreement are Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Bicycling and Runner’s World. With this strategic partnership, PXR strengthens its growing portfolio in the sports and lifestyle market.

PXR is an independent Dutch media company that is represented in football media with Voetbal International and VoetbalPrimeur. In recent years, PXR has expanded its portfolio with, among others, Bright.nl, Scientias.nl and Autoblog.nl. Ernst Keyzer, CEO of PXR: ‘The addition of these strong brands to our portfolio offers enormous opportunities. Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Bicycling and Runner’s World are all renowned titles that fit perfectly with our mission to build real relationships with (sports) fans and communities. We look forward to taking these brands to the next level, both in print and online, and to continue to inspire readers.’

Hearst Netherlands previously said goodbye to a number of other titles, including Esquire, Glamour, National Geographic Traveler and Vogue.

Starting in October, PXR will start publishing the print editions of the various titles. In the following months, work will be done step by step to ensure a smooth transfer of the titles’ online activities.
