Suresh Raina Condoles The Death Of His Super Fan

Former India and Chennai Super Kings legend Suresh Raina has millions and millions of followers in India and across the world. Fans have loved Raina not only for his batting and passion for cricket, but also for that lovable and selfless character from Uttar Pradesh.

One of his millions of fans is Vignesh, also known as Suresh Raina’s super fan. Sadly, Vignesh passed away recently and the cricketer tweeted his condolences to his staunch fan.

Vignesh was regularly seen in India and CSK matches, especially those in which Raina was playing. He shouted loudly for his idol and made every move of Raina on the field his mantra to track the cricketer.

Unfortunately, Vignesh will not be seen anymore after his untimely death.

Raina himself announced on Twitter that Vignesh is no longer with us physically. The former batsman expressed his condolences to the family of his super fan.

“RIP bro @CricVignesh! My deepest condolences to the family.” Raina tweeted a video celebrating Vignesh’s run-out, which the CSK cricketer did during his IPL playing days, vs KKR.

Vignesh’s Twitter handle is @CricVignesh and has more than 800 followers. On his Twitter feed, you can see that he celebrated Raina’s birthday in November last year by giving lunch to disabled people in his city.

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina has added a new feather to his cap. This time off the field but for his contribution to the country as well as the society.

2011 World Cup winner and four-time IPL champion, Raina received an honorary doctorate from the University of Wales, Chennai. The Chennai-based university on Friday (August 5) honored Raina with great honors at a special convocation ceremony held at the college campus.

The southpaw posted pictures from the convocation on his official Twitter account.

“I am humbled to receive this honor from VELS Institute of Science & Technology & Advanced Studies @VelsVistas @IshariKGanesh Sir of excellence. I am touched by everyone’s love and thank you wholeheartedly. Chennai is home and it has a special place for me.” Raina wrote on his officer Twitter Account with some photos from the ceremony.
