‘A shopping paradise’, ‘un-Dutchly large’, ‘impressive’: the superlatives about the brand new Westfield Mall of the Netherlands are in the air. The shopping centre measures 117 thousand square metres and is therefore the country’s largest indoor shopping mall.
Despite the corona crisis, 92 percent of the available retail space has been rented. “A kind of miracle,” project director Teun Koek said earlier to RetailTrends. “But it is also because people realize that this is the future of retail. It is about experience and service and we offer that here at the highest level.” These five retail brands want to get a piece of the pie.
H&M and H&M Home
Fans of H&M can indulge themselves in the brand new shopping centre. The Swedish furniture chain is settling in with two formulas: an H&M and an H&M Home concept store.
