Republican presidential candidate donald trump expressed that if he won the November 5 elections, he would impose a 100 percent tariff on Stellantis (STLAM.MI), indicating that this will be if the automaker attempted to move jobs from the United States to Mexico.
The Republican spoke at a rally in the battleground state of Michigan, where another speaker noted that the company was sending vehicles manufactured by Chryslerproperty of Stellantisto Mexico.
“Tell Stellantis that if they plan to move we will charge them a 100% tariff on every car… and they won’t move,” Trump said.
