The Secretary of Public Education, Mario Delgado Carrillorevealed that they will seek to elevate the “Rita Cetina” scholarshipwhich aims to universalize support for basic level students.
In interview upon arrival at Villahermosa International Airport, Tabascothe federal official, said that they have already started informational assemblies with secondary school parents – where the universalization of support will begin – to inform them of the methodology to obtain help from 1,400 pesosplus 700 pesos for each basic level student in the home.
“If a constitutional reform initiative is going to be presented, the president will announce it in due course.”

“We are starting with information assemblies so that parents first know that there will be this support, what the support consists of, the nineteen hundred pesos per family, plus seven hundred pesos for each additional child in the family, that is, if there are “A family with two children in school will be one thousand nine hundred plus seven hundred, if there is a family that has three children it will be one thousand nine hundred plus one thousand four hundred, seven hundred for each additional child per family that is studying in basic education,” he noted.
Delgado Carrilloexplained that the procedure to obtain support will be carried out online through the official SEP website, registration will start in November, so that in February, he said, delivery will begin.
“We want you to know the procedure, because it is a procedure that is going to be online, parents are going to have to go to the website of the Ministry of Public Education to register, register their children and we can open the account in the Banco del Bienestar, get your card and we will meet you to deliver them to you, all this will happen starting in February of next year, registration opens in November, it is the registration date, then we process the cards now The delivery will begin at the end of January and beginning of February, so we will share all this information with the parents at the assemblies.
He indicated that they will advance with the universalization of support, as the budget is released, adding that after finishing with secondarythey will continue with the primary level and they will announce which years and which grades they would go first; “But the objective is that the entire administration covers the universality of the Rita Cetina scholarship at the basic level.”
