Gerardo Fernández Noronapresident of the Senate Board of Directors, instructed the legal area that requests the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) the suspension of any legal recourse for both judicial reform as for other constitutional ones.
At the end of this Thursday’s session and after declaring the validity of constitutional supremacy, Fernandez Norona noted:
“I instruct the Legal Directorate of the Senate of the Republic to immediately, once the reform regarding contestability is enacted, published and in force, request before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), the dismissal of all disputes in action, unconstitutionality and amparo proceedings that are processed against the reform that was made in matters of the Judicial Branch and that today is the current Constitution.
“And against any reform emanating from the reforming power provided for by constitutional article 135, in order to safeguard the supremacy and inviolability of our Magna Carta, so that no one dares to be above the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States and its imperatives of 105 and 107, reformed and which are already part of the Constitution itself, are fully fulfilled.”

‘Alito’ Moreno faces Noroña
Prior to that, Gerardo Fernández Noroña and Alejandro Moreno, PRI senator, raised their voices in the midst of the declaration of validity of the “constitutional supremacy” reform.
Alito Moreno rose to the Board of Directors to confront Fernández Noroña and claim that he did not open the debate to discuss this declaration.
“Go to your seat and tell me from your seat what… Don’t put your finger on me. Don’t put your finger on me”Fernández Noroña told the PRI member.
“Don’t yell at me. “Don’t yell at me,” Moreno Cárdenas responded.
“Don’t touch me,” Fernández Noroña yelled at him.
While, Lucía Trasviña, senator from Morenahe demanded Alito Moreno: “respect the president (Noroña)”, and stood between the two.
Fernández Noroña had to calm down Senator Lucía Trasviña, who was trying to talk to the PRI senator. Karla Toledo.
After tempers had calmed down, Alito Moreno was allowed to speak and on the platform he said “not only be good at shouting and obeying, be good at debating, at thinking about this country. History will not absolve you, history will judge you.”
He then referred to Adán Augusto López Hernández and Ignacio Mier, coordinator and vice coordinator of Morena in the Senate, respectively.
“When Nacho (Ignacio Mier) was talking about the ‘Herodes Law’, Nacho was from the PRI and he already forgot that Adán (Augusto López) was also president of the PRI, and I can name all the PRI members here…”
Ignacio Mier asked to speak for allusions.
“It is a shame that this great party, product of the Revolution, has become a caricature and that the character who created that caricature is originally from Campeche, led it to the most deplorable conditions that can exist in the democratic system of parties.” .
“They are functionally illiterate… Perhaps the extensive vocabulary I have would not be enough for me on the platform to qualify who is the leader and who took that political party to the grave.
“And today that they are, people are judged by their actions and if you put it on the scale, what a sad reality, it is someone else’s sorrow and if they carry candles, flowers on the Day of the Dead, they have contributed a lot to the death of the PRI.”
Also, the coordinator of Morena, Adán Augusto López, responded to the allusion.
“Indeed I was referred to by the undertaker, following the word of the classic Ignacio Mier. First, just a motion of illustration: there are already two more, we are 87 and we are not so far away that next week we will be 89, we are going to make it come true, the prophecy to Senator Manuel Velasco.
““I was never president, I was general secretary of the PRI and I am not ashamed, what would embarrass me today is the leader, even a member of that disappearing party.”
