The Association of Banks of Mexico (ABM) elected for the first time a woman as its new CEO by appointing Regina Garcia Cuellarco-president of 50/50 Women on Boards Mexicowho will replace from this Monday to Juan Carlos Jiménez Rojas.
“The Association of Banks of Mexico (ABM) informs that the Management and Associate committees have made the decision to appoint Dr. Regina García Cuéllar as the new general director of the ABM, replacing Mr. Juan Carlos Jiménez Rojas” , ABM said in a statement.
The president of the ABM, Julio Carranzahe remembered that Jimenez Rojas He said goodbye to the position last May and highlighted that he served in the position for 19 years “in a very professional and outstanding manner.”
