To strengthen the current public administration in transparencythrough tools monitoring and trainingthe governor of Sonora,Alfonso Durazo Montaño led the signing of a collaboration agreement between the Higher Institute of Audit and Supervision (ISAF) and the SSecretary of the State Comptroller General.
The state president highlighted that this agreement establishes mechanisms to strengthen accountability in the management of rpublic resources in SonoraIn addition to combating the corruption promoting a culture of responsibility in state administration.
“Accountability and transparency are pillars of a government that truly serves the people, and with this agreement we reaffirm our commitment to being a government that is accountable to its citizens and that works to generate trust through honest and transparent administration” , he stated.
What is the agreement about?
- Among the key aspects of this agreement are the control and inspection: a comprehensive control system will be articulated to evaluate and ensure the rational use of resources; advanced systems audit; and the incorporation of technology in accounting systems and archive to facilitate accurate audits.
- Continuous training: specific programs will be implemented for the training of auditors and investigators, thus promoting high standards in the personnel responsible for accountability; collaboration and confidentiality: both parties will join forces, review regulations and will guarantee the confidentiality of the information to comply with the objectives of the agreement.
The agreement was signed by:
- The Senior Auditor of ISAF, Beatriz Elena Huerta Urquijo
- The Comptroller General of the State, María Dolores del Río Sánchez

- Deputy Omar Del Valle Colosio, president of the State Congress
- Franco Fabbri Vázquez, Senior Official of the State Government.
