Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the rose 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the were Piraeus Port (AT:), which rose 3.98% or 1.10 points to trade at 28.75 at the close. Meanwhile, National Bank of Greece SA (AT:) added 2.73% or 0.20 points to end at 7.38 and Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:) was up 2.64% or 0.23 points to 8.93 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autohellas (AT:), which fell 2.64% or 0.30 points to trade at 11.06 at the close. Ideal Group SA (AT:) declined 1.97% or 0.12 points to end at 5.96 and Kri-Kri Milk (AT:) was down 1.80% or 0.25 points to 13.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 70 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.19% or 5.20 to $2,754.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.47% or 1.02 to hit $70.28 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.39% or 1.01 to trade at $73.82 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.29% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP fell 0.75% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 104.06.
