Guide to pendulum states
Next Tuesday’s elections for the White House between Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and former Republican President Donald Trump (2017-2021) will be decided in a handful of states (specifically seven) considered electorally key.
It is considered that the democrats have won California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Rhode Island, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
For the republicans Texas, Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina, Missouri, Kansas, Louisiana, Alabama, the Dakotas, Wyoming, Idaho, Iowa, Arkansas, Alaska, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Utah, West Virginia, Montana, Nebraska and the second district of Maine.
If confirmed, the Democrats would start with 225 delegates and the Republicans with 219.
