The Has Fallen franchise, which first hit cinemas in 2013 with Gerard Butler as Secret Service agent Mike Banning in Olympus Has Fallen, has released its first TV spin-off of the film trilogy.
The trilogy gave us the films Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen and the finale Angel Has Fallen which was set in France.
Before the fourth movie comes to cinemas, a spin-off series Paris Has Fallen has been released today.
Who is in the cast of Paris Has Fallen?
Ritu Arya
Ritu Arya is an English actress who first became known for her role as Megan Sharma in the soap opera Doctors, for which she was nominated for a British Soap Award.
Arya, also known for her role in The Umbrella Academy, plays MI6’s Zara Taylor in Paris Has Fallen.
In films, Arya has appeared in Last Christmas, and starred alongside Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds in Red Notice.
She also played Journalist Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Lena in Polite Society, earning a British Independent Film Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
Tewfik Jallab
French actor Tewfik Jallab plays security officer Vincent Taleb, who’s tasked with protecting French defence minister Philippe Bardin (played by Nathan Willcocks), and accompanies him to a party at the British embassy.
As the plot continues, he joins forces with Zara Taylor (Ritu Arya) to take on a terrorist group led by an ex-captain of the French Foreign Legion.
Jallab was born in France and began acting at the age of 10, portraying a child solider in the film Killer Kid.
In cinema, he is recognised for roles in La Marche and L’Outsider, and on television he portrayed the character Rimbaud in the French television series Cœurs Noirs which premiered in 2023.
Sean Harris
London-born Sean Harris is a British actor and writer who started his career in theatre, where he portrayed roles such as Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet.
He gained recognition in film with his portrayal of Ian Curtis in 24 Hour Party People and went on to star in Prometheus as Fifield and as the villain Solomon Lane in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
Harris is best known for his commitment to complex and dark characters which follows through in the new series as he portrays terrorist leader Jacob Pearce.
Nathan Willcocks
Nathan Willcocks is a British-French actor known for his performances across theatre, film and television.
He began his acting career in the late 1990s before appearing in films such as Beginner’s Luck, A Taste of Ink and Suzanna Andler.
His television credits include roles in series like Versailles, Missions and Marie Antoinette where he portrayed Count Mercy.
In Paris Has Fallen, Willcocks portrays Phillippe Bardin, the French minister for defenece.
Camille Rutherford
Camille Rutherford is a French-British actress, screenwriter and director.
Notable films featuring Rutherford include portraying Mary, Queen of Scots in the 2013 film Mary Queen of Scots and appearing in Blue Is the Warmest Colour.
In 2021, she was nominated for the Cesar Award for Most Promising Actress for her role in Felicita.

Paris Has Fallen has a separate plot which sees French security officer Vincent assigned the duty of safeguarding the French defence minister during an event at the British embassy in Paris.
However, when a terrorist faction executes a seizure of the embassy, the responsibility falls on Vincent to ensure the minister’s safe exit.
Vincent them collaborates with MI6 agent Zara, as they come to understand the depths of schemes in the pipeline.
