Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Fluidra (BME:), which rose 7.11% or 1.64 points to trade at 24.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Unicaja Banco SA (BME:) added 2.88% or 0.03 points to end at 1.14 and Redeia Corporacion SA (BME:) was up 2.73% or 0.45 points to 16.93 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA (BME:), which fell 2.92% or 0.57 points to trade at 18.94 at the close. Indra A (BME:) declined 2.76% or 0.46 points to end at 16.19 and Acciona (BME:) was down 2.49% or 3.00 points to 117.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 127 to 65 and 31 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 1.75% or 48.95 to $2,751.85 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.70% or 0.48 to hit $69.09 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.61% or 0.44 to trade at $72.60 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.06% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP rose 0.80% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.02.
