The Technological University of Mexico (Unitec) announced the opening of its new Monterrey Campus“strengthening its commitment to offering high-quality education and a flexible academic model to a greater number of students,” as mentioned by the institution in a statement.
The new campus will expand the educational offering in upper secondary and higher education, with high school programs, traditional and executive degrees, as well as in-person postgraduate courses and online options. The campus will begin activities in August 2025.

Commitment to education
Unitec has 58 years of experience, during which time, the university highlights, it has distinguished itself for its practical approach and high employability, with a network of more than 43 thousand companies and job placement programs for its students.
In this sense, among the achievements that Unitec highlights is the fact that its graduates obtain an average of 29 percent more income than the national average, according to data from Ipsos and ENOE. In addition, 9 out of 10 graduates work in areas related to their studies, and 95 percent have permanent employment.
Unitec supports its commitment to academic excellence through A7 accreditation from the Federation of Private Mexican Institutions of Higher Education (Fimpes). Furthermore, in the last five years, its graduates have exceeded the national average in the General Bachelor’s Degree Exit Examination (EGEL), demonstrating preparation in line with the labor market.
Finally, the institution highlights that: “Unitec’s accessibility conditions allow more students to join its classrooms, since it has no registration or re-enrollment or extracurricular costs and offers first-entry academic scholarships and educational financing,” in this sense.
