Joel Kim Booster‘s brutal rant about Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador apparently caught the Bravo celeb completely off guard.
The pair recently wrapped filming Peacock’s new Housewives dating series, Love Hotel, where Booster claims Beador treated the crew like “they are subhuman.”
Beador addressed Booster’s rant at a public event with RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson. “I really don’t know what it’s about,” she said.
“He trashed my daughters,” she explained. “He said that I hope that I suffer. He said he feels sorry for John Janssen. He says that I’m nothing but a pathetic drunk, and it’s really going to look silly for him, because he had nothing but love for me the entire show.”
Beador also claimed she saw Booster at the show’s wrap party, where he reportedly “had tears in his eyes” and said that he was “so happy” for her, shortly before he shared the rant.
The RHOC star added that she had an overwhelmingly positive experience on the show until she saw Booster’s rant.
“What I’m sad about is that I did some kind things on the show, and people said it was kind,” she said. “It’s hard for me to walk away from an experience that I really enjoyed and to have that damper on it. But we’ll see what happens. I don’t know where it came from, I really don’t.”
In the since-deleted social media rant, Booster called Beador a “pathetic drunk” and pointed out her marital troubles in a series of scathing Instagram Story posts.
“Just because you’re a pathetic drunk on a reality television show best known for a string of failed relationships and a DUI does not make you a star and does not give you license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman. Period,” Booster wrote, according to screenshots obtained by the Bravo fan account Queens of Bravo.
He added, “They will make me delete this.”
After the posts were indeed removed from social media, Booster doubled down on his statements with yet another post, writing, “Well, that was quick. Anyway. Don’t regret it. Hope you screenshot it. Hope she suffers.”
In accompanying screenshots, a viewer claimed Booster also went live on social media and accused Beador of being “a TERROR for the entire three weeks” to him and the crew.
“At the wrap party just a few hours ago she was terrible to someone he really loves. And he got in her face and said like, ‘You think you’re a star? People don’t like you, they pity you,’” the Instagram Live viewer claimed.
Decider reached out to Booster’s reps for comment but did not hear back in time of publication.
Love Hotel will also feature RHONY star Luann de Lesseps, and RHOP stars Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby. Reports say the Housewives had their pick from a “diverse dating pool” in Cabo San Lucas.
Love Hotel is expected to premiere on Peacock in 2025.
