A confrontation between armed civilians in the municipal seat of Olinalá left two alleged gunmen dead, who were subdued after depriving a local resident of their freedom.
According to unofficial data, which is based on photographs and video clips posted on social networks, on the morning of Tuesday, October 8, a group of men armed with AK-47 rifles arrived in Olinalá aboard a luxury truck.
In the gray truck were armed men who covered their faces with balaclavas, wore boots and protected themselves with bulletproof vests.

The version was spread on social networks that this initial action was recorded around 10:30 a.m., in the San Francisco neighborhood, very close to the City Hall facilities.
In this event, a young man of approximately 25 years old, who is known to be between 25 and 30 years old, named Reyes, was badly injured and deprived of his freedom.
The victim’s family quickly requested the support of a group of community police officers who operate in Olinalá and the neighboring municipality of Ahoucoutzingo, both located in the low mountains of the state.
The incident led to a confrontation in which two of the alleged gunmen were arrested and taken to the municipal court, where they were beaten and their hands and feet were tied.
