Mexican team seeks Argentine clubs for friendly duels – Grupo Milenio

Mexico City /

With a place secured for the 2026 World Cup by being one of the hosts, the Mexican team will face various friendly duels, although these have not left the fans completely happy.

La Afificación collaborator Rubén Rodríguez revealed during a FOX Sports radio program that the Mexican team could face Argentine clubs in their next friendly duels.

Rodríguez revealed that the Tricolor directors traveled to South America to hold talks with different clubs that may be interested in facing Tricolor in upcoming FIFA Matches, leaving open the possibility that those chosen are of the caliber of River Plate and Boca Juniors.

“They are going to look for more matches against clubs, there was a commission in Buenos Aires. I don’t know if the idea is that Mexico goes to play in Argentina or that the Argentine clubs come here to play against the National Team,” mentioned Rubén Rodríguez.

When are Mexico’s friendly matches?

The Mexican team will have its first test against clubs in the friendly duel that will be held against Valencia of Spain, which will be held at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium in Puebla on Saturday, October 12 at exactly 8:00 p.m.

However, this duel has not received the expected response from the fans and this has been reflected in the tickets, since the Tricolor and even the Puebla government itself have had to make offers to the fans.

Later, the Mexican team will face an old acquaintance; On Tuesday, October 15, the Tricolor will host the United States at the Akron Stadium, in Guadalajara, at 8:30 p.m.
