He bodybuilder Lenny Persin aka Big Lennydied at 60 years old after possibly suffer congestive heart failure, according to The Sun.
Furthermore, the news of his death was confirmed by fellow bodybuilder Dave Palumbo, through a video on YouTube.
“This is a sad report, Big Lenny Persin is no longer with us. He passed away a couple of days ago, we’re not sure exactly what day. “I had been suffering from congestive heart failure for quite some time,” he mentioned.
​Big Lenny, as he was also known, He became an icon in bodybuilding and an example to follow for many, to the point of becoming the leader of a group of bodybuilders called Del Rey Misfits.
It is worth mentioning that still The official cause of his death is unknown.
Lenny has participated in several bodybuilding competitions and his last appearance was at the NPC Ruby Championship in 2017, where he took second place.
