The governor of the state, Mauricio Kuriannounced that the administration he heads will launch a series of programs regarding violence prevention, education and values formation, in addition to providing support to the minor accused of homicide to the detriment of a newborn.
Through his X account, the state president said he was confident that the FGeneral Prosecutor’s Office can establish actions with gender perspective and the best interests of the minor are privileged.
The above, after the prosecutor, Victor Hernandezmet with the Women’s Secretary, Citlali Hernandezwhere he reported that there is a willingness to build a route to safeguard the minor who faces the accusation for the crime of homicide to the detriment of a newborn minor.
The governor assured that this is a social drama, which reflects the need to greater institutional efforts to support girls and adolescents and families.
“My government will always be committed, invariably, to protecting, making effective and expanding the rights of girls, boys and adolescents. In this case we will give special attention to the family and support to the girl. “
She asked to listen to her and believe her, to understand the circumstances of her environment and her context, so I trust that The state prosecutor’s office acts in accordance with the law“but also with social sensitivity, and put the best interests of children and the gender perspective above.”
Meanwhile, the human rights specialist and former visitor of the CNDH, Rogelio Estradareported that the minor’s defense must request a retrial because it has not been analyzed from a gender perspective and the prosecution has re-victimized her.
He also requested that an attack by his relative that led to the minor’s pregnancy be considered and that an analysis of the expert reports be carried out.
