In the case of Tlapa, a sinkhole affected the filling of the asphalt layer of the new bypass at the entrance to the municipal seat, so mobility is being severely affected, since the municipal authority closed the communication route to avoid accidents.
Given the situation, the transporters have warned that if the authorities do not repair the communication route as soon as possible, they will begin to demonstrate so that the governments turn their eyes to Tlapa and repair the damage caused by the recent rains.
The workers at the wheel explained that the urgency arises from the long travel times that they now record in the services provided to citizens, since the three minutes it took to move around the city through the new bypass that surrounds the urban area, Now it takes up to 45 minutes to travel inside the city, which affects their economic income.
In addition, municipal authorities report heavy damage in the Zinacatlan neighborhood and various landslides on the roads that lead to the neighboring municipalities of Alcozauca, Olinala, Malinaltepec, Xalpatlahuac, Iliatenco, Cochoapa and Metlatonoc, all located in the Guerrero mountain.
Hurricane John left Chilpancingo without sufficient water supply
Hurricane John collapsed the municipality’s three water supply sources, although this weekend the supply of Acahuizotla was recovered and work is being done on the cases of Mochitlán and Omiltemi, reported the director of the Chilpancingo Drinking Water and Sewage Commission ( Capach) Francisco Javier Nájera Maldonado.

The director of Capach mentioned that the three main sources of supply of the vital liquid collapsed on September 30, so until now it has only been possible to recover the Acahuizotla operation, while the Mochitlán and Omiltemi systems remain affected, since They even have damage to the power lines.
The projection is that these systems can operate at least 70 percent of their capacity during the week that begins.
In the session of the Municipal Civil Protection Council, it was indicated that the priority is to coordinate and reinforce efforts to address the areas most affected by the four-day rains generated by Hurricane John.
The recovery of water supply systems is considered a priority.
