What was the attack against Diana Sánchez Barrios like?
Staff of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City arrived at the scene and requested medical service support for the victims.
Subsequently, Sanchez Barrios She was transferred to a Medical Center hospital, while the other two were taken to another clinic to receive medical attention; However, one of them died.
“It is reported that one of the injured, 32 years old, lost his life in the hospital due to a gunshot wound to the shoulder blade; what was already made known to the agent of the Public Ministry for the investigations of the case”, noted the SSC.
The first investigations indicate that the attackers fled on a motorcycle, while the authorities are already tracking the alleged perpetrators through surveillance cameras.

What did the capital authorities say?
The leader of the capital’s SSC, Pablo Vázquez Camacho, indicated to MILLENNIUM Television that it was a direct attack against the leader of the merchants of the Historic Center.
Regarding the health status of the victims, the official explained that they were wounded by firearms, so they were immediately transferred to different hospitals in the country’s capital.
Minutes before the man’s death was confirmed, he noted that one of the victims was in a serious state of health, so his situation will be confirmed in the next few hours.
“The head of government (Clara Brugada) has asked us to use all available resources against those responsible (…) We have information about what happened, but we will update it as we have concrete results.”
For her part, the head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, reported that, in relation to the events that occurred in the streets of the Historic Center, from the first moment, the Mexico City Police, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office capital, is working to locate and arrest those responsible.
“I have instructed the SSC to deploy all necessary resources to bring those responsible to justice, as well as to reinforce the security of the Historic Center of Mexico City,” the capital’s president detailed in her X account. .
Likewise, he regretted this violent act, and said that he has already offered all necessary support to the families of the victims.
“The Secretariat of Citizen Security and the (FGJ) of the CdMz will continue to report on the progress of the investigation. There will be no impunity,” he said.
