Acapulco is 97 percent back to school – Grupo Milenio

The head of the Secretary of Education Guerrero (SEG), Marcial Rodríguez Saldaña confirmed that 97 percent of the entity’s schools are already back in activities face-to-face academics, although 2 percent are working online.

Rodríguez Saldaña maintained that the return to classes in that proportion was achieved through the efforts of fathers and mothers. of family, teachers and directors, but others, based on the support of the President of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda and the Secretary of Public Education, Mario Delgado Carrillo.

He maintained that 97 percent of the state’s schools returned to classes, 95 percent in person and 2 percent virtually.

Only 3 percent are pending.

In the case of Acapulco, the municipality with the largest population in the state, it is noted that 97 percent already work in person, 2 percent virtually and only 1 percent are pending.

The head of the SEG recognized the effort of the sector staff to return to classes, since it is about guaranteeing students the right to education.

He said that a census is being carried out of the damage caused by Hurricane “Jhon” to the educational infrastructure, with the aim of the insurer AGROasemex carrying out the rehabilitation of the schools.
