They rescue 111 migrants in Janos, Chihuahua- Grupo Milenio

A total of 111 migrants were rescued from the bed of a trailer, when They were transferred to the border of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua and El Paso, Texas. An alleged “pollero” was arrested and linked to criminal proceedings.

The people in a situation of mobility were found by elements of the National Guard (GN) at a military post located in Janos, Chihuahua, reported personnel from the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).

The migrants were traveling in degrading conditions and apparently asked the agents for help.

The detained person, identified only as Rubén “G”, was placed at the disposal of a District Judge accused of the crime of human trafficking, in its form of transportation in the national territory, indicated FGR.

The suspect was issued with an order of connection to proceedings and as a precautionary measure justified preventive detention.

Just last October 4, another 122 migrants from Central America were rescued when they were traveling crowded in two tractor-trailers.

The vehicles were also detected in Janos, at a military inspection point called “Picachos” and two alleged “polleros” were detained and booked.
