A teenager was arrested on suspicion of being the alleged perpetrator of a shooting that left two adults and three children dead in a house of the Seattle suburbsin the state of Washington (northwestern United States), according to police.
The King County Sheriff’s Office indicated that in addition a teenager had to be hospitalized due to the shooting that occurred on Monday night (local time) at the house, located in the town of Fall City.
The authorities have not reported the circumstances under which the shots were fired, nor any details of the detained minor, who will be presented to justice in the next few hours. They also did not say if there was any family relationship between the detainee and the victims.
The detainee may face charges of first or second degree murdersaid Sheriff’s Office Mike Mellis, who in a press conference said that when officers arrived at the house following a call reporting a shooting they found “chaos.”
“There was no significant confrontation with the suspect who was taken into custody,” Mellis said.
University shooting over the weekend
One person died and five others were injured in a shooting at Albany State University, in Georgia (United States), on the night of Saturday, October 19, reported the State Bureau of Investigation.
The events occurred at 8:50 p.m. local time during a “very crowded” concert that was being held on campus and which also included People who did not belong to this university could attendthe agency said in a statement.

Six people were injured by gunshots and one of the victims, De’Marion Tashawn Daniels19 years old and originally from Newman (also in Georgia), died. The young man was not a university student.
The injured, aged between 13 and 20, were attended on campus before being transported to a local hospital.
Albany Police continue searching for the attacker; for now no arrests have been made.
