He governor of Tamaulipas, Américo Villarreal Anayastated that the results that place the metropolitan area as the third safest in the country and the 74 percent approval by the inhabitants of the state, are the product of everyone’s work.
This morning, during the delivery of the sculpture rehabilitation monumental Bicentennial Eagle, Villarreal Anaya called to public servants to continue working with enthusiasm, responsibility and commitment to continue building the future of Tamaulipas and contributing to the greatness of Mexico.
“Being in front of the monumental sculpture of the Bicentennial Eagle, to deliver it to the restored Tamaulipas society, confirms our interest, our commitment and our responsibility to preserve the heritage that is the property of the Tamaulipas,” he said.

For its part, Pedro Cepeda AnayaSecretary of Public Works, gave an explanation of the rehabilitation work of the Águila del Bicentenario, which was inaugurated in 2010, and it is made from a steel structure and plate, whose height reaches 42 meters.
“After more than a decade of exposure to inclement weather, this work required a technical intervention to restore its original splendor and it was only now, 14 years after it had been inaugurated, that our governor, Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya , aware of the importance of the conservation of cultural infrastructure for the identity of the Tamaulipas, instructed us to allocate resources for its rehabilitation,” he concluded.
