The man arrested on suspicion of trying to assassinate the former president Donald Trump On September 15th on a golf course in Florida he detailed his plans and He admitted that he wanted to commit the crime in a handwritten letterthe Prosecutor’s Office said on Monday.
A motion filed Monday in court by the U.S. Department of Justice revealed the letter, in which the suspect, Ryan Routh, He acknowledged in a pre-written note that he had planned the attack.
Routh, 58, who will have a bail hearing today, was spotted by the Secret Service armed with an assault rifle hiding behind bushes on the perimeter of a golf course owned by Trump and arrested shortly after fleeing the scene.
The allegations are included in a memo filed ahead of a hearing Monday in which the Justice Department is expected to argue that Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, He must remain in custody while the case progresses..
The details seek to substantiate the prosecution’s claims that Routh is a threat to public safety with a premeditated plan to kill Trump (a plot that authorities say was foiled when a Secret Service agent spotted a rifle barrel sticking out of some bushes on the edge of the golf course where Trump was playing in West Palm Beach).

The note had been placed in a box left months earlier in the home of an unidentified person who did not open it until after the arrest last Sunday. The box also contained ammunition, a metal pipe, building materials, tools, phones and several lettersThe person who received the box and contacted law enforcement is not identified in the Justice Department memo.
A note, titled “Dear World,” appears to have been written with the assumption that the attack would fail.
“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, but I failed you. I did the best I could and gave it all the strength I could. It is now up to you to finish the mission and I am offering $150,000 to whoever can accomplish the mission,” the note reads, according to prosecutors.

An attorney for Routh did not respond to an email seeking comment.
Cell phone records subpoenaed by the Justice Department indicate that Routh traveled from Greensboro to West Palm Beach in mid-August, and was near Trump’s golf course and his Mar-a-Lago mansion “on multiple dates, at multiple times.” between August 18 and the day of the apparent murder attempt.
Routh was arrested Sunday afternoon after a Secret Service agent, who was scanning the Trump International Golf Club for potential threats, He saw a partially hidden human facewith the barrel of an automatic rifle pointed directly at him. The officer fired at Routh, who fled before being apprehended by officers in an adjacent county.
