State Traffic Agents, belonging to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) rescued three people who were trapped in their homes as a result of the Huacacpa River overflowin the Rivera Campestre neighborhood, within the state capital.
People who received assistance from the staff swith two women, one of them a minor, and an adult malewhose house had been surrounded by the river current.
Officers intervened to rescue the family and continued patrolling the state capital to verify damage and offer support to those in need.
Likewise, the municipality reported that there is monitoring of the controlled discharge that occurs in the dam. Rich Hillwhose slope runs towards the Huacapa River, a body of water that runs through the capital of Warrior from north to south.
There is also monitoring in the ravine located at the main entrance to the community of Amojilecawhich is located just 20 minutes from Chilpancingo, on the route that goes up to the Sierra de Omiltemi, since it isThe growth of the ravine caused the interruption of vehicular traffic.
For this reason, the authorities have recommended to the locals not to risk trying to cross and suggested waiting for the flow to decrease in intensity.
Finally, they clarified that there is another monitoring in the 44 ravines that descend from the upper parts of the city to the Huacapa River channel, which, so far, are not considered high risk.
