Eaton inaugurates electrical solutions facilities in Ciudad Juárez – Grupo Milenio

The intelligent energy management company, Eatoninaugurated a state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Ciudad Juárez, where will manufacture electrical solutions for the energy transition of utility, mining, oil and gas customers.

The company explained that the new facility will reinforce Eaton’s manufacturing capacity, improve its service capabilities and strengthen its presence in the Mexican and Latin American markets.

Fernando Ceccarelli, President of the Protection, Control and Solutions Divisionexplained that this new manufacturing site in Ciudad Juárez is a testament to the commitment to customers and communities.

“We are dedicated to improving the quality of life in Mexico and Latin America, through the technologies we offer, the clients we support and the jobs we create to drive a clean energy future,” he concluded.

How is this designed? manufacturing site?

The new 110,000-square-foot facility in Ciudad Juárez is part of a $150 million investment announced in September 2023 for boosting the manufacturing of electrical infrastructure for North American businesses and communities.

The company added that this represents a strategic expansion, as it will increase the company’s presence in the region, increasing its manufacturing capacity to better serve the Mexican and Latin American markets, compared to the previous facility.

The manufacturing plant will produce a range of essential energy management products, including motor control centres, medium and low voltage distribution boards, lighting boards, as well as compact substations and a range of other standard products.

“The new site is designed to meet the growing demand for advanced energy management solutions in the region,” the company added.

He explained that 95 percent of the products manufactured at the Ciudad Juárez plant are destined for the Mexican market and the remaining 5 percent for other Latin American countries.
