TOUGH WORK

During her time over in Western Australia, Grainne and Ryan started FIFO [fly-in, fly-out] work together at a mine.

The 12-hour work days in the belting Aussie sun were worlds away from Grainne’s glamorous model life.

But the Irish star admitted to the Daily Mail, that her time as a truck driver at the mine was the first time she “didn’t have an ounce of anxiety or stress”.

Grainne told how the high-paying mine work was great for saving money.

While the extensive time off to compensate for long shifts and no weekends all allowed her time to travel.

On the other hand, Grainne admitted it does come with some downsides.

She said the long shifts, especially during the gruelling summer heat, while being swarmed by flies were some of the setbacks of the job.

Despite that, Grainne confessed how she will “miss” her time in FIFO.
