LOTTO bosses have revealed which lucky county was home to the winning jackpot ticket of €5,501,086.
A wave of excitement has swept through the village of Kildimo, Co Limerick, as the local Mace has been revealed as the store that sold the winning Lotto Jackpot ticket.

The ticket was sold on Wednesday 25 September and is worth a life-changing €5,501,086.
This win is set to make the Limerick player the 26th National Lottery millionaire of 2024.
Store owner Carol Mulcair expressed her joy after receiving the news that her shop sold the winning ticket.
She said: “What a lovely phone call to get!
“I’m absolutely delighted. We’ve had a couple of small wins over the years but nothing of this size!
“It’s great for the area and will definitely create a buzz around the place. The staff are thrilled too.
“We’re a very rural, local shop with the same people coming in every day, so I hope it’s one of them.
“Whoever it is, we’re absolutely delighted for them!”
The Limerick winner becomes the 7th Lotto Jackpot winner of 2024, joining the ranks of six other big winners from across the country.
This includes Dublin (4), Louth, and another Limerick victor earlier this year.
The National Lottery has also confirmed that the Limerick winner has made contact, and arrangements are being made for them to collect their prize.
Meanwhile, the National Lottery’s exciting ‘4 More Lottery Millionaires’ promotion will conclude on Saturday September 28.
And one player has been guaranteed to win an incredible €1million in the Lotto Plus Raffle.
This marks the final draw in the month-long promotion, which has already seen players in Galway, Leitrim, and Mayo each claim a life-changing €1,005,000 top prize from the EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle draws.
These draws have been held on September 6, 13, and 20.
