The happy couple has been in Athens for a few days, where this Saturday afternoon they will get married in the city’s Metropolitan Cathedral. Within the walls of this art gallery are icons, mosaics, ceramics, sculptures, inscriptions, miniatures, frescoes, architectural elements, manuscripts, ecclesiastical garments spanning from the 4th to the 20th centuries. In total, more than 25,000 objects organized in collections that come mainly from Greece, Asia Minor and the Balkans.
The banquet, in a five-star resort
The next day, the Orthodox ceremony will take place in the most important cathedral of the dynasty, where sPrincess Teodora’s parents got marriedas well as his uncles, kings Juan Carlos and Sofia, his brother Philippos with Nina Flohr, and the solemn and emotional funeral of Constantine II took place. The wedding banquet will be a dinner that will take place in a resort luxury on the beach. The newlyweds along with their loved ones will move to the five-star One&Only hotel on Glyfada beach, less than 20 kilometers from Athens.
