The violence unleashed in Culiacán It reached a new level this Friday night, when a van was found with at least five lifeless bodies.
The discovery took place next to the Calzada Heroico Colegio Militar, a few meters from the Jardines del Humaya pantheon, in front of one of the entrances to the Alturas del Sur subdivision, in the south-eastern area of Culiacan.
His appearance coincides with the president’s visit to Sinaloa Andrés Manuel López Obrador and the president-elect Claudia Sheinbaum.
The bodies were bagged and tied with tape and the identity of the victims is unknown at this time.
A few kilometers away, at the hospital ISSSTEin front of the barracks of the Ninth Military Zone, a strong security operation protects a wounded soldier after a confrontation in Jacola.
According to reports, a “monster” truck belonging to organized crime intentionally hit the military unit, ejecting the agents and causing the death of one of them.
In another violent event recorded in San Ignacio, in the Barras de Piaxtla area, the death of four people was reported after an armed confrontation. At the scene, authorities found four vehicles with multiple bullet holes; two of them were completely burned.
Additionally, in the Emiliano Zapata administration, belonging to Culiacán, two other abandoned vehicles were found with obvious damage from gunshots.
The violence also reached the Mazatlán-Durango Maxipista, where at the exit of El Túnel the body of a man shot to death was found. Another body with gunshot wounds was discovered in the vicinity of Celestino Gazca.
The authorities have begun investigations to clarify these incidents that aggravate the insecurity situation in the region.
