‘Control freak’ Meghan Markle ‘keeps her & Harry’s kids away from royals to make sure she stays in charge’, expert says

MEGHAN Markle keeps her and Prince Harry’s kids away from the Royal Family so she can stay in control, an expert has claimed.

Harry and Meghan have raised their kids Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, in California since Megxit in 2020.

But an insider said the couple have different ideas on parenting – with Meg wanting to raise them as true Americans and expose them to little royal influence.

And keeping the youngsters in the Californian bubble is Meghan’s way of feeling like she’s still in control of the self-inflicted chaos brought upon her family, author Hugo Vickers told The Sun.

He said: “I mean, I’m sure [Meghan just] wants to be in control.”

Hugo added the upbringing Archie and Lilibet are having is “disappointing” as it appears they don’t know about their bloodline and are both missing out on royal events.

“I think the problem for the children, as I see it, is that yes they’re probably having a very nice time being brought up in California. I’m sure it’s a lovely place to be brought up,” Hugo said.

“But there’s going to come a point when they realise that they are actually cousins to the British Royal Family, and that they could have taken part in all the sort of things that Prince William’s children take part in.

“And you know they don’t, even, as far as I can see, know, their cousins at all, and that surely must be quite tricky and disappointing really, for them.”

It comes after Meghan refuses to step foot in the UK and doesn’t allow the kids to make any trips with Harry.

And young Lilibet is yet to meet estranged grandpa King Charles.

Hugo said: “They talk a lot about family values and things, but remember, it’s not only the King as one grandfather that they haven’t met.

Harry & Meghan’s Oprah interview was a disaster for key reason – they didn’t learn from Diana & Andrew, says expert

“They haven’t met Meghan Markle’s father, either, who only lives 70 miles away. And we know he’s very upset and distressed about that.

“I mean, it is nice for children to meet their grandparents, because it’s all part of being a member of a family.

“It’s really up to Prince Harry to make the effort. If he wants his children to meet him [Charles], he should make the effort to bring them across.

“Simple as that. The King would, I’m sure, always make time for him if he did that, but there doesn’t seem to be a great willingness to do so.

Meg is ‘dictator in heels who terrifies everyone’

BY Matt Wilkinson

A STAFFER working “high up” for the Sussexes was the source behind the shock claim that “everyone is terrified” of Meghan, it has emerged.

The allegations were made in The Hollywood Reporter that also said Meg is branded by staff as “Duchess Difficult” and a “dictator in high heels”.

It comes after a string of aides left Archewell including Chief of Staff Josh Kettler who stepped down after just three months.

Sources close to Meghan and Harry claim the comments reported by the Hollywood Reporter were “fabricated”.

But Maer Roshan, Co-Editor in Chief of the magazine, said: “Our reporter talked to I think a dozen people, most of them are people who work very closely with the couple in various capacities now and previously.

He added: “Our reporter talked to a very high up source who works for the couple who said: “Everyone is terrified of Meghan Markle”.

The revelation that a source from within the Sussexes organisation and Archewell will stun Harry and Meghan.

An astonishing 18 members of staff have quit working for the couple – nine since they moved to California.

Many ex-palace staff coined the term ‘Sussex Survivors’ Club’ to describe themselves after they quit working for Harry and Meghan.

Some even, half-jokingly, believed they suffered a form of post-traumatic stress after working for the royal couple.

Sources close to the Sussexes insist the term “Duchess Difficult” has never been used to describe Meghan.

A source from Archewell, who asked to remain anonymous, said: “These quotes were fabricated by someone lacking knowledge of our company. The Duke and Duchess work from Montecito, and we’re based in Hollywood. They likely think we’re all in the same office and that this quote would fly, but the circumstances don’t even allow for it. If she’s “marching around” and “barking orders” no Archewell employee could factually claim that. It’s total nonsense.”

The publication also reported allegations that Meghan was “absolutely relentless” and that “she marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders”.

Meghan’s “noisy tantrums” and “angry 5am emails” are said to be what earned her the nickname.

Regarding emails, a source said: “Who hasn’t sent an email when they can’t sleep or are awake early? I’ve never once ever gotten an email from either of them at that hour and even if I did, The Duchess specifically notes in her email signature that everyone has a different working day and to not feel obligated to respond outside of normal business hours. These source quotes don’t make any sense.”

The latest shock claims come some six years after Buckingham Palace was forced to investigate Meghan for “bullying behaviour” towards to royal aides.

Meghan has always denied claims that she bullies staff.

“So therefore, I’m a little bit dubious when they talk about the family values that they espouse.”

Thomas Markle has reportedly has never met his grandkids or even son-in-law Prince Harry.

Former lighting director Thomas and Meghan’s relationship soured in the run-up to her 2018 Windsor Castle wedding, when he admitted agreeing to stage pictures of himself.

Meghan told Oprah Winfrey that her outspoken father lied to her about talking to the British press – a “betrayal” that she just can’t “reconcile”.

Archie and Lilibet are rarely seen beyond the family’s £11million Montecito mansion.

Royal author Phil Dampier told The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show in June it will be “fascinating to see those kids grow up”.

He added: “When they get a bit older, are they going to start asking questions ‘How have we got to this situation?’, ‘How is it I don’t see my grandparents?’, ‘How is it I don’t have anything to do with the royal family?’

“When they get old, that’s probably when the problem is going to start and it’s going to be difficult for them.”

BATTLE BETWEEN US AND UK

It comes after one expert said the pair were in a “battle over raising Archie and Lilibet as both royals and Americans”.

Richard Fitzwilliams, claimed The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s children face an “upbringing with which is unorthodox to the rest of the world”.

Dividing time between the UK and the States could be a nightmare for the royal couple.

Meghan faces a “hostile press” and “rift with the Royal Family”, should she cross the pond with Archie and Lilibet – who ” have obvious links to Britain”.

Richard Fitzwilliams previously told The Sun: “There’s little doubt that Megan and Harry are raising Archie and Lily very much the same way as in in the United States is as they would here.

“Because obviously you get an occasional photograph, or and you get an obsession, and quite rightly, with privacy.

“Also, you’re dealing with very young people so far as the rather extraordinary circumstances in which Archie and Lily find themselves, the fact that they are being raised in the United States, and yet, of course, have obvious links to Britain.

“And obviously the British Royal family, I mean whether one day they choose to use that titles.”

The Sussexes have been contacted for comment.

Harry and Meghan’s ‘biggest mistake’

BY Matt Wilkinson and Morgan Johnson

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview was a disaster for one reason, claims an expert.

Mark Borkowski appeared on this week’s episode of The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show where he told Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson the Sussexes should have learned from Diana and Andrew.

The “disruptive souls” believed they were bigger than the Firm and thought they had complete control over their shocking 2021 TV chat, he said.

When in reality, it completely backfired when Oprah took the lead on the “explosive mistake”.

Mark said: “They were trying to outdo an organisation of the royal household and at the time, the Queen was still alive, giving that advice and she was a wise, wise woman.

“So these disruptive souls who were going to somehow be bigger than the Royal Family themselves, that was a mistake.

“You’re doing a deal and of course you’re talking to one of the most famous interviewers in modern television history.

“There’s no control over it, you’ve done a deal. And you think you’re in control, but you’re not.

“And that was a big mistake. It was so explosive.”

He also told how Harry and Meg should have known a high-profile interview would not go in their favour.

It comes after the late Princess Diana famously told the world, in a chat with Martin Bashir, that she knew then then-Prince Charles was having an affair with his now wife, Camilla.

And in even more speechless events, Prince Andrew infamously told Newsnight, with BBC’s Emily Maitlis, about his links to Jeffrey Epstein – which has since been made into Netflix series Scoop.

Mark added: “The lessons surely were there about mistakes that Diana made in the Bashir interview.

“And there were mistakes in recent history in Andrew given the Maitlis interview.

“They should think ‘How do we do this?’. Less is more.

“The Queen understood, she knew the power and one of the things that I think is one of the greatest statements post that [Oprah] interview was when she said ‘Recollections may vary’.

“It was such a short brilliantly crafted thing and you know that’s the quality of advice at the highest level.

“Coming also from a woman who probably kept the establishment together from years and years of sitting on that throne and understating how to get the balance.

“It was a desperation to tell their story.”
