And the Offaly man is NINE shots behind leader Angel Higaldo.

Lowry struggled in his first round on Thursday when finishing on four over par.
But his five-under-par round yesterday has kept him just about in touch with the leaders.
Spaniard Hidalgo is four shots clear of second placed Joe Dean at the summit on ten under.
Hidalgo began his campaign with an opening-round score of 65 before backing it up with a 67 yesterday.
Sam Bairstow is a shot further back on five under — tied for third with three-time champion Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed, Julien Guerrier and Alfredo Garcia-Heredia. Tommy Fleetwood is four under.
Thursday’s letdown was peculiar given he’d come into the week in fine fettle.
He’s had his best season on the PGA Tour after ending his US campaign T9 in the Fed Ex Cup standings.
Plus he’s coming off back-to-back T12 finishes at The Irish Open and last week’s BMW Championship.
But the gas maybe running out for the 2019 Open winner after an extremely hectic 2024 schedule.
Lowry is playing his ninth event in eleven weeks on both the DP World Tour and PGA Tour but is frustrated he hasn’t been able to get over the line for a solo win after some near misses.
If nothing else, the Offaly native and general sports obsessive has at least ticked one thing off the bucket list this week as he visited Real Madrid’s revamped stadium on Tuesday.
