Lulú Figueroa, the most original guest at Ana Cristina Portillo’s wedding with a ‘retro’ outfit designed by the bride

The Cathedral of Jerez de la Frontera today hosts one of the most anticipated events of the autumn, that of Ana Cristina Portillo and Santiago Camacho. A wedding that makes headlines due to the list of well-known attendees – the bride is the daughter of the youngest daughter of the unforgettable Sandra Domecq – but it is also news in the fashion media since It was Ana Cristina herself who designed ¡29! of her guests’ dresses. “It was a lot of work,” the bride said in one interview for HELLO!. She also explained that she has created 25 personalized designs, “from choosing the fabric to the print motifs.” We were able to see the result (and above all enjoy) at the doors of the Cathedral this Saturday, September 28: color, natural motifs and fluid silhouettes unified the most elegant looks of the celebration, although there is a guest that has stood out (and completely right) with a more retro than the others. Lulu Figueroacousin of the bride and designer, has fallen in love with her outfit.

Together with her husband, the music producer Adrián Saavedra, and the couple’s two children (Ciro, five years old, and Lucio, who is three), the painter and aristocrat posed beautifully at the doors of the Cathedral. For her cousin’s wedding, Lulú has chosen a beautiful print in canary yellow and sky blue which the designer named Labradoritetaking the name of the stone with bluish tones. It is a print that It already existed in the collection of Ana Cristina Portillo Domecq Design, although the designer proposed it in an asymmetrical dress with a wide cut that was very different from the one Lulú has worn.

The artist wanted to adapt the print to her style retro and ultra-feminine, and has used the fabric designed by Ana Cristina to create a top and skirt setone of the most flattering. It consists of a sleeveless blouse, closed with bows and finished in a ruffle peplum (Will this trend return? vintage?) matching with a simple midi skirt with front opening (a detail that provides comfort to tube silhouettes like yours). She has combined it with multicolored strappy high-heeled sandals and the most original guest accessories on her loose hair: a golden tiara of intertwined leaves and flowers that added the bohemian touch to styling. Out of ten.
