The trajectory of José José It is widely known by most Mexicans. Songs like La Nave del Olvido, El Triste or Almohada are just some of those that El Príncipe de la Canción left for all eternity. However, the singer is also remembered for his problem with alcohol.
In an interview with Matilde Obregón, it was José José’s own ex-wife, Anel Noreña, who revived those problems that José José had with drinking and how those nights of alcohol crossed the limits making him appear after being absent for three days.

Anel revealed what was going through her mind when she saw her husband arrive after three nights of partying:
“The party lasted two or three days. I was crying because what are you doing? He could talk to the people who could bring himr, but those people scared me, they scared me,” he said.
But the other problem was what happened in the hotels on the extensive tours in which José José was enrolled, which is why Anel recalled that in those situations she became “sick” with jealousy.
“I arrived in a bad mood because if they arrive in a good mood they will hit you. Things happened, But there came a time between the success and the late nights that I became sick with jealousy because I already knew what was happening at the hotel with the artists. People come, knock on the door and it’s a naked lady; It’s horrible,” he continued.
Have you ever been unfaithful?
During a moment of the interview, the journalist said that on some occasion, José José had been unfaithful to her, but Anel answered that he was never able to prove anything, although he did tell an anecdote where he found a mysterious paper inside his briefcase.
“I never catch him (cheating me) More than once, I inappropriately went into his briefcase and found a little note from the showgirl that said ‘will I be wanted tonight?’ I complained to him and he told me ‘you’re crazy,'” he concluded.
