Good appetite! Italian cuisine, protagonist today in ‘MasterChef Celebrity’

MasterChef Celebrity 9 continues its journey after the expulsion last week of actress Nerea Garmendia. The fourth installment of the contest will be broadcast tonight in a program that will start with a lot taste of Italy.

And the challenge for the candidates this time will be to develop a plate free of fresh pastamade by themselves, using the appropriate cooking technique and the sauce and filling of your choice. To do this, they will have the advice of the Italian chef Ferdinando Bernardi (Casa Bernardi restaurant, in Alicante). He will also visit the set in this test. designer Eduardo Navarrete, exaspirant of MasterChef Celebrity 6.

OUTDOOR TEST IN THE CÍES ISLANDS

To carry out the outdoor test, the team will head to the Cies Islandslocated in the Ría de Vigo. There the contestants must show their skill with Galician cuisine. For the first time in the history of talent culinary, the menu will be designed by four cooks of this Community: the chefs Xosé Magalhaes (Ceibe restaurant, Orense); Luis Veira (Arbore Da Veira restaurant, A Coruña); Lucía Freitas (A Tafona restaurant, Santiago de Compostela) and Daniel López (O Camiño do Inglés restaurant, Ferrol) They will join forces to create dishes that will be enjoyed by 100 workers, visitors to the Cíes Islands National Park and personalities from the area.

Back in Madrid, the applicants will discover the secrets of the hydroponicsa cultivation method soilless that uses mineral solutions to achieve an important saving water, energy and spaceachieving quality products, without waste and respecting the environment. The challenge for the black aprons will be to prepare a plate of Tiny Food (miniature kitchen) with the help of utensils minis and ingredients grown from that hydroponic method.

The jury will be, as always, in charge of testing the preparations, accompanied in this case by Flea (aspirant of MasterChef 12) and three little chefs who went very far in these kitchens: Loreto and Mariowinner and semi-finalist of MasterChef Junior 10, and Xavierapplicant MasterChef Junior 8.
