New portrait of a friendly Adrienne from Sweden who faces big changes after moving to Stockholm

The new photograph of Adrienne from Sweden What her mother Princess Magdalena has shared shows how much her youngest daughter, who turned 6 years old in March, has grown. The girl poses very nice with her dog Teddy in a particularly autumnal environment and with an outfit that we have never seen her in before and that she is probably still getting used to. We are talking about an anorak with which he faces the low temperatures of Sweden, which contrast with the eternal summer in which he lived in Miami, where the family spent the last six years.

“Adrienne and Teddy are experiencing the cold autumn for the first time,” wrote their mother, familiar with the inclement weather in her native country. The youngest of the family and Duchess of Blekinge was born in the Danderyd hospital in Stockholm, but spent her childhood in warm Florida, like her siblings Leonore, ten years old, and Nicolas, eight years old.

It is not the only change that the children of Magdalena de Sweden and Chris O’Neill have faced since their move. The three have left their home and school in Miami to begin a new stage in a new home and a new Swedish school with all that this implies for the children. Not only do they have to adapt to a new educational system, they also have to make new friends, although it probably won’t be too difficult for them. In addition to having the support of his cousins Estelle and Oscar from Sweden, The children have a friendly and very happy character. “Leonore is the most cheerful and playful and is more like me; Nicolás is much calmer, sensitive and with a huge heart, and Adrienne is happy,” Princess Madeleine once said in an interview published in HELLO!.

Until now, their life in the United States kept them very far from the public life of the royal family, although on occasion we have seen them at family events and even some official events like when Nicolas inaugurated, accompanied by his parents, a park which the town of Västernorrland had given him for his baptism just over two years ago. Although in no case can we expect a busy agenda due to their young age, it is possible that from now on they will have more prominence and participate in some commitments appropriate to their age.

Whether or not they decide to include their children in some public events, one of the changes that children will undoubtedly appreciate the most is being closer to their grandparents – it is known Queen Silvia’s passion for her eight grandchildren– and his cousins, both the children of Victoria and Daniel of Sweden, as well as those of Princes Carl Philip and Sofia: Alexander, Gabriel and Julián, without forgetting the one who is on the way.

Since they have returned to Stockholm, we have barely seen Leonore, Nicolas and Adrienne, but we have seen their parents. Madeleine of Sweden never had a very active role within the royal house, something that was accentuated with the distance when she moved to the United States. Now it is recovering part of that agenda, and even has attended an official event with her husband Chris O’Neillwho has always made it clear that he did not want the title of prince, nor any obligation to the royal house (nor any privilege), something agreed from the beginning that was never a source of conflict with the Bernadottes. This does not prevent him from accompanying his wife to certain events, especially private ones, or any event when his schedule allows it.
