Yes, as you just read, the renowned Mexican actor Fernando Colunga is not only known on television, but his works have already reached Serbia where a group of men formed a group called Fernando Colunga Ultimate Experience. Here we are going to tell you everything.
Who are Fernando Colunga Ultimate Experience?
Fernando Colunga Ultimate Experience (also known by its acronym FCUE) is a Serbian metal band from the city of Požarevac. This group takes its name from the Mexican soap opera actor, Fernando Colunga Olivares.
The band was founded in 2010 and still retains the original line-up: Marko Živković, Stefan Milenković and Antonio Jovanović. FCUE began as an side project of the band for recreational purposes that mixes musical bases from genres such as grindcore, with some comic and parody lyrics about soap operas and various cultural icons.
To give you an idea, one of the biggest hits of this exotic rock band’s career is called The Usurper, telenovela that was extremely famous in Mexico around 1998.

“The group/project itself is conceived as a parody of the popular Latin soap opera series in Serbia, which has a large audience on television. The name of the band comes from the name of one of the most popular Latin actors, Fernando Colunga Olivares,” it reads.
Who is Fernando Colunga?
During the 90s, several actors became known thanks to their participation in different soap operas, one of them was Fernando Colunga, who attracted attention for his way of acting, and also won the hearts of many women, who classified him as a television heartthrob.
The relationship between Fernando Colunga and acting began in a strange way, in an interview with Gustavo Adolfo Infante, the actor said that he finished his degree in civil engineering, however, he always had a taste for being an actor.
Little by little he consolidated his career as an actor and we saw him appear in other productions such as Esmeralda, The usurper, Hold me very tight or in the period soap opera Real love and Alborada next to Lucero.
