The Madrid Cow Gallery exhibition arrives in the capital, the best fusion between art and nature

The streets of Madrid are going to be transformed into an open-air museum with the arrival of the Madrid Cow Gallery. A unique exhibition, which will be available until December 15, that fuses nature and art in a corporeal cow-shaped canvas to show the essence of the city.

Madrid Cow Gallery is going to bring together more than thirty artists, established, emerging and promising young artists, in charge of illustrating their works in hand-carved sculptures. Once the exhibition is over, these works of art will be auctioned and the profits will go to environmental projects and caring for the planet.

A project, which has had the participation of the renowned gallery owner Jorge Alcolea, in which recognized artists such as Maseda, Mario Arlati, Miguel Macaya, Mario Pavez, Jesús Arrúe, Eloy Morales, Rosana Sitcha, Felipe Rodrigo, Fabio Colella, will participate. Musa, Ramó Moscardó, Gregori Saavedra, Mariano Ortega, Dora Maldonado, Teresa Calderón, Enrique Bardena, Sergio Mora, Elisa Valsangiacomo, Angus and Daniel Menor. In the same way, there is a group of students from the Francisco de Victoria University, selected from a competition in which more than 300 works were presented.

A total of 34 sculptures that are spread throughout different parts of Madrid, turning the city into an urban meadow. Those interested in visiting the works can locate them on the interactive map that is available on the official website of the exhibition.

A unique cultural experience that connects rural life with the vibrant urban identity of Madrid, as each work in the Madrid Cow Gallery reflects the diversity and cultural richness of the capital, inviting Madrid residents and visitors to explore the connection between the countryside and the metropolis. In addition to beautifying the streets of Madrid, this exhibition highlights the commitment of the Spanish beef sector, represented by PROVACUNO, to environmental sustainability.

This exhibition, which has been possible thanks to the signing of an agreement between the Madrid City Council and PROVACUNO, will encourage continuous improvement in environmental matters and will promote biodiversity, for the benefit of the general interest of citizens. The ultimate goal is to create urban regeneration through nature-based solutions to combat climate change and mitigate its effects on the city.
