WAG Annie Kilner might want to take a leaf out of Coleen Rooney’s book to get her troubled marriage back on track.
Mum-of-four Annie, 32, who has asked for £15m of footballing husband Kyle’s fortune to save her marriage, reportedly called on four other footballer’s wives and girlfriends for advice on how to ensure ‘financial security’ as far back as 2019.

And who better to look to for tips now on how to make a marriage work than Queen of the WAGs, Coleen, 36, who has been there and got the t-shirt with her own less-than-perfect partner, Wayne.
The two women share life parallels – like Coleen, Annie began dating Kyle at 16, both are mums to four boys and they both know how it feels to have your relationship rocked by cheating scandals.
But despite their relationship being marred by infidelity claims, Coleen has stuck it out with Wayne, 38, the dad of her boys, Kai, 14, Klay, 11, Kit, eight and Cass, six.

Back in 2019, Annie feared Kyle would cheat again and he went on to father two children with mistress Lauryn Goodman.
Who better to teach her how to keep tabs on her fella than the marital super sleuth herself, ‘Wagatha Christie’ Coleen.
The phrase was coined in 2019 when Coleen turned detective to figure out who had been leaking stories of her to the press.
Her infamous reveal which ended with ‘… it was Rebekah Vardy’s account’ eventually led to Vardy suing Coleen for libel, a case she lost.
Vardy was then ordered to pay an estimated £1.5million towards Coleen’s legal costs.
Since then Coleen has starred in a documentary series, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story on Disney+ and, crucially there have been no more false stories about her in the press.
It seems like Coleen’s investigation tactics worked – something Annie might want to take note of.
Build her own brand

Annie is a model in her own right and has made appearances on The Real Housewives of Cheshire but if she wants to branch out and show Kyle she’s a wife who means business, she could build her own brand, like Coleen.
In 2006 the brand-savvy WAG was hired in a £3million two-year deal to be the face of ASDA George clothing.
Two years later, in 2008, she signed up to design a jewellery range for Argos for a reported £500,000 fee and then, in 2010, she became the face of Littlewoods for a reported £2 million.
Now, Coleen’s the new brand ambassador for Applied Nutrition, a sports and active nutrition brand.

Holiday Queen Col loves a getaway and, by 2018, she’d reportedly enjoyed 72 luxury breaks, worn 107 bikinis and racked up a £1.8million holiday bill.
According to her Instagram snaps, she jetted to Dubai back in January and Marbella in August.
If Annie gets her hands on Kyle’s £15million – half of his estimated fortune – to fix their relationship, she could take a leaf out of Coleen’s very extensive holiday book.
They say a break can be as good as a rest and Annie could have more than her pick of high-class destinations – though whether she decides to take Kyle with her will be anyone’s guess.
Outings with the girls
A strong woman has mates who have her ‘back’ and Coleen loves a girl gang.
She loves a girls’ night out and is also a regular at the Aintree festival, often visiting for all three days where she’s snapped enjoying herself with her mates.
It’s here where she puts on her fanciest frocks so take note Annie, if Coleen ends up in your girl gang you’ll need that new dress.
Like Coleen, keep investing time in your besties Annie because with Kyle’s track record, you never know when you might need them.

Writing can feel like free therapy and Annie could be like Coleen and pour her heart out on paper.
Coleen’s latest book – My Account: The official autobiography – was released in November last year.
Billed as ‘the inside story into her legal battle with Rebekah Vardy’, it also gives readers a ‘full account’ of Coleen’s life to date, including the ups and downs she’s tackled with husband, Wayne.

Up her gym game
Annie is no stranger to the gym and was even pictured getting back to it just two months after welcoming her youngest son, Rezon, in June this year.
But she might want to hit that boxing bag a little bit harder if she’s going to avoid taking her frustration out on Kyle.
Coleen, who has been spotted in her gym gear for decades, could show her how it’s really done, particularly after she was recently seen in a pair of £950 Prada sandals after leaving a pilates session.
