MARRIED At First Sight couple Charlie Curtis and Eve Reid quit the show tonight in a dramatic commitment ceremony.

The couple had driven viewers crazy with their tearful rows and emotional flip-flopping.

Last night they clashed after Charlie discovered Eve had branded her a bully to co-star Polly Sellman.

And tonight there were more tears when Eve was caught listening in to Charlie’s “safe space, breaking her trust in the process.

Eve insisted Charlie was lying when she accused her of eavesdropping in the ceremony, but expert Mel Schilling was on hand to announce to the room that it was Eve who was telling fibs.

The couple were then tasked with writing down whether they wanted to stay and give the relationship a go or leave and walk away from each other for good.

Eve was first to reveal her choice, with Leave scrawled on her card.

It appeared to irk Charlie, who also opted to quit the experiment.

After it became apparent the duo were going their separate ways, Charlie said: “I know things didn’t work out good but yous are f**king amazing, and you’re a great person too, Charlie, I hope someone makes you very happy.”

Charlie didn’t take the compliment too kindly, sniping that Charlie never gave her a chance.

Eve responded: “Keep your head held high, Charlie.”

Speaking to camera, Charlie said: “I’m conflicted. Yes, it’s the right decision but its still tough walking away from people you have feelings for.

“I’m leaving a heartbroken woman right now.”

Before leaving the room, both Charlie and Eve were given hugs from their tearful co-stars.

Prior to the ceremony, Charlie had grown fed-up with Eve’s unwillingness to co-operate with the experiement.

Earlier in the series the couples were tasked with writing letters to each other to open up about their relationships, but Charlie was left upset when Eve revealed she hadn’t done it. 

The moment was just one in a long line of arguments between the couple and followed Eve spending next to no time with Charlie on their honeymoon. 

Eve claimed she preferred to spend quality time with Charlie, but Charlie shot back: “But you don’t, you haven’t. Stop, because you’re lying.”

A shocked Eve asked: “Are you joking me right now?”

As the row escalated, Charlie broke down in tears and furiously asked Eve to leave the apartment.
