The two community members who had been reported missing were located safe and sound, thanks to an operation carried out by authorities from the three levels of government.

This night, the police forces arrived at the municipality of Tingüíndin and handed over the community members, who were lost. Faced with this situation, the inhabitants of the Purhépecha “Jesús Díaz Tsirio” Communal Council immediately lifted the blockade and reopened traffic on the Los Reyes – Zamora highway, near the Tingüíndin high school.

Even this afternoon, the community members had detained and set fire to a Sabritas company truck as a way to exert pressure on the authorities. Hours later, the police carried out an operation and managed to locate José Luis Martínez Tello, who had disappeared since yesterday. The other community member, whose identity is unknown, was also found and is already with his relatives.

With the location of the community members, the road was free for circulation.
